Service department people are crooks. Especially one character in particular named Jason. Dude prays upon people who aren't mechanically inclined. Luckily I know my shit and made him feel stupid behind the counter. I will say that an older gentleman named Craig, also part of the service department, salvaged my experience by showing me the best techniques to work on my bike and just do things myself. The only way I would go back is if I dealt only with Craig. That idiot Jason though...FTP.

This is the cornerstone of the San Diego East County Motocross scene. The store has evolved into a mega store but hasn't lost its soul. I miss the Midnight Madness event. Good and knowledgeable parts department staff, well merchandised.
