Lenore led our prenatal classes and did an amazing job. The sessions were very educational and hands-on. My partner and I went in feeling nervous about birth, but we left feeling confident and excited. Lenore showed us several helpful techniques to manage pain many that involved my partner which made us feel more prepared as a team. She also explained different options and medical terms we might hear at the hospital, which really helped us feel informed and empowered. Highly recommend her classes!
I was referred to Abigel at Mother's Matters and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with her. I have recommended her to several others. Meeting with Abigel before my labour to create my birth plan had me confident in her support and myself and I successfully had an unmedicated birth. We’re so grateful for Gina’s support throughout our pregnancy and birth. From the very first meeting, we felt completely at ease with her. Gina was an absolutely amazing birth doula! She checked in on me frequently during the lead up, and was always just a text or call away. She provided support and encouragement, and showed us a variety of resources to use for birth prep. 5/5, would highly recommend everyone have a birth doula!
Mother Matters is an exceptional service in the Hamilton and Burlington area. We took the prenatal classes online and also purchased the course handbook. Both classes and course materials were essential to our pregnancy! We learned so much to help inform our labour, delivery, and breastfeeding decisions.
