Bad – Disgusting liqour-My friend and I bartend in the industry and no our liqour was not right The jack did not taste like jack and the bacardi either. We thought it may have been the coke, glass, or ice, or glass cleaner, but when asked for it straight in a plastic cup we realized it had to be the jack. Stick to bottle beers if you go here! hundred dollars for what – Let me preface this with if you want to watch sports and eat great wings this is the place. However, our server was the worst I have every had. Being a thirty something I am not new to the scene. She was awful, other than the wings the food was not good and SLOW. We had a burger, two order of wings, one beer and cokes our tab was over 100.00 dollars. Poor service, below average food and an astronomical bill leads to a sour taste. Try Harry Carry's for that price it is awesome.

A comfortable spot downtown to grab a few beers with the after-work crowd or co-ed softball team. – The Scene Pool tables and a vast array of TVs make it a great place to gather for a game. Mother Hubbard's subscribes to pretty much all the satellite sports feeds, so if you want to watch a particular game, this is the place to come. It's usually on the quiet side in the late afternoon and early evening when Loop and River North workers stop by for a belt on the way home. Banquet-on-a bun – 11 oz. double broiled-they make it in 20 lb.batches by hand. A REAL OLD FASHIONED BURGER- It has onion, green peppers, clelery salt and other ingredients. Mine came with a small Caesar salad and broccoli ( I passed on the french fries). The burger was better than the Laker/Piston game that brought me into Mother Hubbards. My pal had the ribs, I had one and it was great. We are switching meals for game 3.

Old fashioned burger – I have had Blackies and Ditkas and all the "popular" burgers.The Burger at Mother Hubbards stands above them all in many ways. It is larger (11oz.).It is made by hand, the old-fashioned way. It is like the burger mom made for me. It has onions, green pappers,celery salt not ON it but IN it.It is Phenomenal!
