I only stayed for one night but the staff was very friendly and let me check in early. The room was clean and quiet a great deal for $40 a night :)
Went to Nascar Nationwide race which was about 28 miles away. Hotels right near the racetrack were charging $175.00 per night and I did much better just by traveling a little way.
This is the second time I have stayed at the Motel 6 North. I chose it originally because of it's price and location near the Interstate and it's proximity to Downtown. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable. For the price, it was just what I expected.
Clean room, basic accomodations, friendly staff
As other reviewers have said, this hotel was surprisingly up to date and attractive for a Motel 6, particularly with the wood floors. I was not charged extra for bringing a dog, which was a major plus.
The Motel 6 room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom appeared to have been remodeled recently and was small but well done. There was no dresser but otherwise the room was very adequate. The room was quiet. It is only 30 miles from Iowa Speedway in Newton.
The property is located right off I-80 and I-35 and is very convenient. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and we did not have to pay for WI-FI. Lots of choice of TV Channels and parking was ample. Would definately stay again when back in town.
Bed was comfortable and really liked that it did have a mini fridge.
Istay 300+ nights in hotels. This is a remodeled Motel 6, so everything was fresh and clean. The lady at the front desk checked me in quickly and was cheerful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall a great place to stay.
