Istay 300+ nights in hotels. This is a remodeled Motel 6, so everything was fresh and clean. The lady at the front desk checked me in quickly and was cheerful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall a great place to stay.
Our room was clean and quiet. The room rate was very reasonable and the room was very simple meaning there were not many amenities. I was told that amenities were available at the front desk upon request and that was the policy for all the Motel 6.
The hotel has a great location and has easy access from and to the Highway 80 and 35. Recently they have updated all their non smoking rooms with a different color scheme and replaced all the bedding and the window treatment. I like the new landscaping that is being done and the staff was very friendly. Would definately recommend this hotel to my friends and stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay during the Iowa State Fair at the Motel 6. Nice clean rooms with a wide selection of cable channels. 32" LCD TV was great for my kids to play their playstation games. Pool was very enjoyable
When I checked in at the front desk there was a lady by the name of Frances. She was extremely friendly and caring. She had a great sense of Humor and was able to handle all the guests in the lobby in a professional manner and asked me if there was anything I needed before I went up to the room. It is the great attitude of the front desk person that I really liked about the hotel.
This was the only hotel close to the airport and under $50 a night. It's very basic but it was clean. If you're looking for a five star hotel this is not it but if you a place to sleep and a great shower in the morning this is the perfect place.
The last time I stayed at the hotel during the fair, the place was not up to date. The new owners did a very good job with renovating the place. The property is clean and well maintained. Front desk staffs are awesome. The manager is friendly and helpful.
This hotel has just been remodeled so the room was bright and cheery. The bed was comfy and the gal who checked me in was quite personable. I would definitely stay here again.
Do stay here if you simply need to pull off the Interstate, sleep and get back into your car and leave. We have found the perfect place to stay at an incredible price. ($41) Our daughter goes to the University of Minnesota and we find that by leaving Lincoln NE we can drive halfway and crash out in Des Moines at this hotel. It's clean, basic and we haven't had a bad stay in the 3 times we have stayed here. We do nothing more than use this place to sleep.
