On Saturday July 15th I went to the store to look few cars I was interested for. I liked one of the cars and I negotiated with the dealer that on Monday 17th I would like to have a mechanic evaluating this car. He allowed me to perform a pre-purchase evaluation and I gave him $100 in advance as a proof of a serious offer.
