Finally, a stylist who listens with talent in spades – My boss recently had a facial from Moshi Moshi and she looked absolutely radiant for days after. I have had my hair cut and colored since it opened, but I am now tempted to visit the new esthetician on staff. I have never regretted a single cut/color. Good experience – I have been several times for a hair cut with Mary - she is very good - I would highly recommend her! My only problem with the salon is that they really hurry you through your appointment - Mary only seemed to have 15-20 minutes alloted to cut my hair before her next appointment and she didn't have time to straighten it. I really don't fault her - I got the sense it was more of a salon policy....I'm used to a bit more TLC/time from my stylist. All that aside- great place, great people.
disappointed.........and sad..... – I made an appointment with Moshi Moshi at 7.30 tonight for a hair cut. On its appointment reminder, it says: my appointment will last until 8:00. When I was right outside of its door at 7:45, I got a call from them saying they cannot keep my appointment because I was 15 minutes late. Great experience – Moshi Moshi was great. The people there are very helpful. I had an appointment with Karen. I had long, shapeless hair and I wanted to keep it long but make it look like something. She knew exactly what I wanted and gave me a great cut. I ended up with the hair style that I had been picturing in my head but wasn't sure if it would work out for me. She made it work. Best haircut I've ever had – The stylists at Moshi Moshi are the best anywhere. I went there with only a vague idea of what I wanted to do with my hair and the stylist helped me figure it all out. I left feeling and looking great. I highly recommend Moshi Moshi for its, cool vibe, awesome Franklin Street location, and its terrific stylists. Trust me, you will like your hair.
bummer – i got an awful haircut; it's nothing like i asked for and it wasn't even styled all the way. i made it even once i got home, at least, but still have been too embarrassed to leave my house. the place is cute and the people are sweet but i'm really, really disappointed, especially after hearing such great things.
Cutest salon around! – I have been coming to moshi moshi for the past year and have always had a good experience. I have used both Karen and Courtney as my colorists depending on who is available based on my crazy work schedule. I like the fact that everyone seems to work as a team and I don't feel awkward if i need to change from one person to the next. They also sell original products that I have not seen anywhere else.
Love it! Super Stylish, not for the types who are afraid of change. – I love going to Moshi Moshi for my haircuts. It is hands down the best I've ever been to. With that said, you should know that any fancy salon haircut is going to cost at least $40. This is just about the standard rate no matter what salon you go to. If you expect mastercuts prices, go to mastercuts.
