I was skeptical about the hype. It far exceeded my expectations, in spite of that. It was a memorable gastronomic experience.
Nice place .. all the dishes of the LUNCH SET .. like beef, chicken and black cod fish were all waaaaaaay toooooo salty ... should cut down to 50% of the salt/soy sauce and would still be OK
Food was great but service was lacking. Ordered several appetizers with the thought that they would be served in order but they all came at once...and then we hardly saw our server.
Food was very creatively arranged and scrumptious that's why I am giving 5 stars because I am such a foodie.. I overlooked how long it took to get my drink and odd seating arrangements/ uneven table kept rocking / loud atmosphere ( couldn't hear my husband which is good and bad lol 😂 Will definitely be back when visiting Napa.
Amazing service, our waiter had an extensive knowlege of the saki menu. Food is always amazing. Spicy king crab, bone marrow, rock shrimp tempura and carpaccio appetizers are fab. Chefs choice sushi is always a crowd pleaser. And desert...monkey bread, smores and the Chocolate bomb are to die for. It was the perfect meal!
Loved the decor, plating (especially the dramatic dessert plates #MeltingChocolateSpheres) and se Vice. It would be lovely to have seen more imaginative plant based options since human demand for fish is depleting and devastating our oceans.
This place is awesome. Everyone makes me feel like a celebrity when I go there. My favorite dishes include the rock shrimp tempura, Waygu beef, and the chef choice is amazing. (Be ready to eat, it's a ton of food)
I love Morimoto. The staff is always one of my favorite parts. Started with cocktails they always have such fun drinks on the menu. The food was delicious. Soup, apitizers, and rolls. Finished the evenin with a yummy warm banana monekey bread dessert. Overall amazing experience every time we eat here.
The service was terrible. My server, Chris, was inattentive and slow. My drink wasn't delivered to me until after receiving my second course and only because I reminded him. No assistance or recommendations. Disappointed 😔
