Nice store. Nice merchandise. Marcus Rosner: not so nice owner. I bought, for just over $11,000, a Patek Philippe watch from him, and it didn't work. I took it back to the store four times--maybe more, but I have only four receipts--and Rosner put it on a winder. Rosner even conned me into buying a winder. God only knows why I bought it. Then he said he'd buy back the watch--for $9,000, even though it has appreciated in value. I don't care about the appreciation in value; I simply want my money back. Shocking – What in the world just happened? I called the store to ask about shortening my watch bracelet, as it was too big for me. The representative who answered the phone was rude and unbelievably arrogant. Granted, I didn't know what to call the watch bracelet at first, and I told him I was looking to shorten my watch strap, to which he rudely cut me off and told me he couldn't shorten a strap because straps were leather.
