My approach to therapy is foremost to hear my clients, what their goals and needs are, and to make them feel safe and comfortable. I then formulate a treatment plan based on their goals. I have been in private practice for 25 years and my specialties are: Individual and Couples Counseling, Adolescent and Child Counseling, Family Counseling, Divorce, Trauma, Anxiety and Depression, Anger Management, Substance Abuse, Life Transition Issues, and EMDR. Cappi is AMAZING! Never felt like I was seeing a therapist but a friend! Comfortable environment, easy to talk to, VERY informative and very caring to my needs. She helped me with my chronic PTSD with an EMDR procedure and I've never felt this clear with my thoughts and myself. I can literally say that I now see life with such a brighter note and I have Cappi to thank! She's a true blessing!!!

Cappi is a very capable therapist. She was like other therapists I’ve seen that just wanted to throw medication at me. She helped me to see why I was depressed and stressed and gave me tools to handle my life better. Highly recommend

Cappi helped me to understand where my fears and phobias came from and gave me the tools to overcome them. Her friendly, open attitude helped me to open up, and I have never been able to do that before. Just one session of EMDR was enough to lighten my emotional loads. 5+++ stars!
Worst self claimed psychologist. Always late, used patients time to self loathe her problems, too many assumptions and accusations towards younger generation - Hence a very little progress. Safe your time and go to real doctor.
Best marriage therapist we have been to. We have tried many and this is the first time we are making real progress.
Cappi has helped me get through a very difficult breakup and my struggles with co-dependency. She used EMDR along with other therapies to help me cope. I would highly recommend her to others with family and relationship issues.
My husband and I have been going to marriage counseling with Cappi for over 3 years. She is excellent! The communication within our marriage has improved year over year and our marriage is as strong as ever. We are eternally grateful for her help and guidance.
