Usually its s good place the food is good but last night everybody that came in after us got their food and donrhad already ate and left before we got ares
Good food!! Ok service, but they were extremely busy Tuesday night.. Wasn't a big fan of the enchilada sauce. The tamale was good, but would have been great if it wasn't cool. The tacos and margaritas were fabulous!
I had the pleasure of enjoying Moreno's meals as far back as the early 1970's. I loved it! I had moved out of Southern California and when I returned and went back to Moreno's, the food was still outstanding. I really appreciate the consistency and quality of the food plus the atmosphere and service. They have never disappointed and I always look forward to the experience. To The Moreno family and staff....congratulations and thank you!
Taco Tuesday is the bomb. I love the ambiance of the Patio at night.
I myself have been going to Morenos for over 30 years. Always has been one of my favorite places. Over ther course of the last handful of years it seems to have progressively gotten too expensive. As far as the service goes it is hit or miss just as any resteraunt can be. I still enjoy the ambience and will always continue to go.
I usually like Moreno's, but last night we got terrible service. Our server was very nice, when we saw her... Had to ask 3 times for soda refills, food was okay, at best. We were just about done with our food when my son's burrito finally came out. So he pretty much sat there and watched us eat My other son hated his burrito, but the server never came back to ask how we were doing so I had to give him my plate or he would have starved too. This place is a local legend. Those of us who are long time Orange County residents have watched them grow. We applaud the family for saving the historical old Quaker church on the property and not destroying the old California pepper trees. You sit in a courtyard under those trees and you are transported into old California, That's the nature of the place. Very good food.....good service GREAT PLACE TO EAT......
I had the shredded beef taco, flavor was good but could of added more of it. The rice was the way I like it. Service could have been better perhaps they were short staffed or something.
