As a retired public health nurse, I can tell you that dental pain was the number 1 complaint from people I served. And there are incredibly few options for treatment for people with few resources. Untreated dental infections cause heart problems, increase risks with pregnancies let alone poor nutrition. Thank you Madison Dental Initiative for providing dental care to so many. Your work with community partners to reduce unnecessary ER visits for dental pain is a huge contribution.
