I tried to go here for Mother's Day this year, was so excited to try it for the first time. We got there, there was a family in front of us and they got told it would be a couple minutes, then we went up and the girl asked us if we have a reservation, I didn't know you need a reservation to sit anywhere. My husband, Steve, has been a friend and customer to this restaurant for 25+ years. I've joined him for 4+ years. The changes of the restaurant through out the years never compensates the integrity of the owners, management and staff. The food is FABULOUS!! Some day soon I'd like to meet the chefs, as they do a great job in presentation of each meal. We frequent The Moot House for family get togethers, birthdays, graduations, wedding receptions and more. They make us feel as part of "their family!" See you soon!!!!
This used to be my favorite place to eat in town .. they changed the look which is fine but the changed the menu and the menu choices are lame and our food was way to salty .. service was horrible .. bring back the old menu please....
Never go if a reservation is required. Very bad organization with reservations. We watched many later reservations be seated before us. We were not the only family that experienced this frustration.
Had been my favorite place for over 20 yrs. First time in since the remodel/menu makeover.....very disappointed in the menu, food and service. Finally got a "cup" of french onion soup in the middle of the meal....ordered the bowl...rice was dry and crunchy..swordfish was bland and boring. Will have to find a new favorite place:((
