Like several others have also mentioned, I discovered David's work via Instagram and fell in love with the style of his art. I came to him with some vague ideas of what I wanted, and he created a fabulous design that I couldn't be happier with! David and Tina are both delightful people, and I seriously can't wait to get more work done here.

I received my first tattoo at Moon Tattoo and I am so pleased! Tina and David's professionalism is impressive. The studio is in a great location; very clean and inviting. David's attention to detail and artistry is exactly what you want when you get your first tattoo. I fell in love with his work because of how precise he is with his line. I can't imagine now getting a tattoo from anyone else! I look forward to getting another one of his custom works of art again soon.

I was interested in the shop and the talent of the artist looked great. After stopping in for the first time and inquiring about a tattoo, I was told to send my ideas to their email. I did so and in return received a rude email. I am no longer interested in a establishment that is rude for only inquiring and asking questions. I was looking forward to it but not anymore.

David is an amazing artist and very professional. I spent 10 years looking for an artist to cover up a bad piece and I knew the minute I saw his work that he was the one. Everyone before him wanted to cover it with a very large, dark piece but that wasn't what I wanted. David covered it with fine lines and watercolor style and it is beautiful. I live in Dallas but will gladly drive the 4 hours to Austin just to see him everytime I want a new tattoo. Seriously- I will never go to anyone else again.

This was my first tattoo and David was just so amazing. He has such a calming, professional presence that I never got nervous for even a single moment through the entire process. He is also a very talented artist and took my 2,000 unformed ideas and made a masterpiece on the first try. I wouldn't get tattooed by anyone else in town and I am already thinking of my second tattoo :)

I went to see David, told him some of my ideas, and made an appointment with him for later in the week. I went back to see that he came up with a beautiful sketch and getting tattooed by him was an excellent experience. My friend who came with me got to purchase a beautiful print by him too. I'm definitely coming back!

Found David's work after doing a ton of research, and he truly does impeccable, beautiful work. He's pleasant and genuine to chat with, and is an incredibly talented artist. He just finished my first large piece, and I can't imagine having anyone else do my future tattoos, now. Highly highly recommended!

I took a vague idea to David and the final piece is unbelievable... he killed it. He took something that really only had wisps of form in my head and made it into something that fits my personality, and shows off his style, perfectly. I can't think of a way it could have turned out better. I'll be going back for more work without a doubt. Aside from being deeply impressive artists, the Poes are just genuinely awesome people. Check 'em out!

I searched for three years for a local Tattoo artist in Austin. When I found David's work, I said finally! And boy was I so right that day! Not only is he extremely talented, he is very kind, and listens to his clients needs. Highly recommended This shop!
