Excellent experience. Truly enjoyed my visit. The exam was thorough. Dr Moody explains things very well. The purchasing of glasses was easy. Many choices for frames. Appreciated the recommendations. Thrilled to find a family owned eye doctor downtown Indy!
I have never been so frustrated with a Doctor's office before but I guess there is a first for everything... After explaining why I just wanted my prescription for the time I was berated for not buying their frames by the rudest employee. She asked me why I didnt go to a cheaper place then? I was being as nice as possible and she unjustly embarrassed me and made accusatory remarks to me. I have been a customer for 8 years, I WILL NEVER RETURN.
I really try to support small businesses, and I wanted to like Moody Eyes. Unfortunately, after two separate issues over the past year, I can’t recommend them in good faith. First issue – insurance & reimbursement: During my 2024 visit, I was charged up front for multiple services. Later, my insurance ended up covering part of what I was charged for. This was my first visit to Moody Eyes after having the same eye doctor for the past 35 years. The experience was wonderful and flawless. Very nice people and they made me feel right at home.
