We brought our dog here originally just as a second opinion. However after meeting with Dr. Jacobson and his staff we decided this was the clinic we wanted to change to. We have been in three times so far and have always had the best experience with Dr. Jacobson, it is clear he truly cares about animals and has been very honest and upfront with us about the needs of my dog and surgery. We've been here for 45 min and have yet to be seen! Totally unacceptable. You need to schedule appointments better if this is how you treat everyone.
I just wanted to say how amazing the staff is here. We brought in our elderly dog with health concerns. Dr. Wilcox was so patient and answered all of our questions, explained all the options and supported our decision. We will be bringing our other dogs here.
I have used the Monticello Pet Hospital for all my pets over the years. The owners have changed, the staff has changed but the same high quality pet care has remained the same. Thank you Dr. Jacobson, Dr. Patton, Dr. Wilcox and the support staff for all the excellent care you have given my pets. It has made their lives better and thus mine too.
Doctors Jacobson, Patton and Wilcox are extraordinarily committed to providing compassionate care to their clients. They, along with the administrative and technical staff, treat people and their pets with kindness, respect, and courtesy. I'm so happy to have found this clinic when we moved to the area 16 years ago.

They was there for us when we needed our Jake the most, came out and made it alot easier for our family, but never easy, also got a card and flower seeds to plant on his grave next spring!!
Our dog recently got sick and ended up needing to be put down because the cancer was too advanced. The entire staff was amazing and made an extremely difficult decision a little easier.
