Recently a patient there. The dr that saw me never examined me. He ordered some tests. He never came to discharge me but the nurse did with a sign off from him. Turns out I had a type of Bacteria called c-diff. I was never really told what I had and was never informed how contagious it is. I went to my primary care the next day and was given information on this horrible stuff. I was there for 3 days. My sheets were never changed. This hospital has declined and if I ever have to go back I will go to another. Shame on you MedS... read more

This weekend, after his minor ear infection turned into a raging bacterial horror, he was given blood tests and all the right meds, admitted, and he has recovered well. We have encountered exactly one person who wasn't good among the literally hundreds of people who have treated him in ... read more

Thank you, Barbara, for your feedback for MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. We apologize for the one person that did not meet your expectations, but we are very happy to hear that your experience was mostly positive. We hope your husband has a speedy recovery!
Horrible hospital with incompetent doctors. Thy practice CYA first and common sense last. Never go here. I have had numerous bad experiences and tonight’s was the last straw. They have no respect for parents and no interest in reducing trauma for their patients. It is all about preventing liability for them.
From the moment we walked through the doors, literally everyone we came in contact with was kind, caring and compassionate. My father received excellent care. I know. I am a registered nurse of 35 years.
I loved their service !took my husband to the ER and they helped him right away the nurse took good care of him and cristine the nurse in the 5 th floor was so nice, and extremely caring, dr qaisrani was so helpful, thanks medstar
My wife and I together had 3 surgeries in the last 2 years. Each time, we had a great experience from registration to the discharge planning. People are very caring and professional.
