It was the greatest hospital before Medstar. I had the misfortune to be taken there because of an accident. It was a nightmare experience. I never want to go there again.

Medstar Montgomery General hospital has ALWAYS been subpar. My father contracted a staph infection at this hospital after a routine hip replacement due to the poor infection control procedures and unsanitary staff hand washing. He’s subsequently had so many additional surgeries because of the negligence of Montgomery general hospital giving him MRSA. (Upwards of 8 surgeries over the last 15 years). RecommendedThey Treated the Joyners so well!! My husband survived the Covid19, after being transferred here from Southern Md Hospital, in PG County! I didn't understand why they had transferred him here but I cant tell you how grateful I am, after losing my grandma and aunt from Covid19 3 days apart from one another and my Husband had to be placed in the ICU that made me feel very comfortable and confident that they were doing the total best taking care of my Ceajay!!! Thank to the nurse Doctors for taking care if him!!
These are crazy times!!! But I wanted to take a moment to thank you for taking such wonderful care of my mother. She has ESLD and I know her prognosis isn’t good. Despite that, you kept her there for observation since May 1st. I know she’s been in/out of lucidity, but when she had a good moment, she made sure to tell me how wonderful you all were to her. My 3 year old sadly dislocated his elbow during the COVID19 pandemic and his Pediatrician and urgent care won’t take him.... medstar montgomery did a phenomenal job. I was so worried taking my little guy there, especially at these times, but the nurses, doctor, staff made him feel so special and he was seen super quickly. I felt every precaution was taken and safe. Thank you so so much!
