No communication by Doctors. Medication randomly changed. Nurses unable to provide a history on when medications are changed and which doctors made the changes. This hospital has gone from being a grade A Montgomery County facility to a grade D. ☹️ Oh and must mention the musical chairs and phones they play. If a patient needs a chair they have to find one or maybe a folding chair is available. Two beds only one phone-unplug and move as needed between patients. RecommendedThe Maternal Newborn Center is exceptional and filled with very caring nurses. I delivered all four of my sons there and had wonderful experiences with each one. The staff were all phenomenal and would strive to make sure I was well taken care of as well as my babies.

The Doctors bed side manor leaves alot to be desired. Ex-I was on a med. that was seriously not compatible with another med. Instead of explaining this to me, they just arbitrarily D/C'd the medication & that was the end of that. they never took time to explain this to me & left me defensive. to say the least, I became real well known to Medstar. My chart was flagged & I was told it was because I had gone to every ER.in the area. (& I was a nonsense to them) Any how, I now have a Dr. that took me on, but not with out kicking... read more

Wonderful moment great era beautiful picture and fantastic architecture
Took a close relative there- took 4 trips to the er to diagnose serious medical problem- when she was finally admitted, they didn’t tell her the diagnosis until the minute she walked out the door- if you value the lives of your loved ones- I would go somewhere else

They are very slow once you get back there. They need more doctors. I tell you one thing, better than Laurel and Howard County
