I like Joi hotels so we tried it. Love the decor. Our room was cozy. Location isn't bad. On the edge of being the seedy part of town if you happen to walk towards Union Square. But it was all good.
FYI: no longer tied to Best Western. Best ocean view rooms
This place worked well for my mother and brother as a central hub for their trip to SF
It's expensive but the view is nice. If it's cloudy you can go on a whale watching trip.
Great staff. Bring earplugs if a light sleeper...
Free wine everyday from 5:00 to 6:00 can't beat that:)

Pros: Cute hotel with quirky & helpful employees, free wifi and a snazzy wine hour. Cons: no A/C, thin walls and sketchy neighborhood. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
