Non-ocean views are of the parking lot, and there is ridiculous fan noise coming from all directions. Plus, the freeway noise.

Good location at nice beach but that's it. Aged hotel complex and unfriendly staff. 20 USD for overnight parking. Overpriced.
Remodeled old beach lodge. Nice room furnishings (with a few leftovers, like super small bathroom). We had a room right on the beach. Gorgeous sunset from the mid century modern/beach chic lobby bar.
Very nice view if you have an ocean side room. Way overpriced, the room was loud all night. Staff started to clean up the patio in a rude way at 7am on a sunday morning, woke up from this.
Did not have our room ready at check in time. Made us (and many others) wait an hour and then couldn't tell us how much longer it would take so we had to bail. What a shame.

Las habitaciones son lindas y amplias, sobretodo closet, hay un restaurant de comida Arabe. Lo malo: esta cerca de Union Square, barrio lleno de vagos de noche y se escucha TODO de las piezas del lado
Nice hotel overall but doesn't compare to Hotel Vitale (another SF JDV hotel). Staff are friendly, location is convenient, rooms are well appointed. 2 things I'd change: pillows + Air Conditioning!
