GUNSHOT LEFT MOLDY APARTMENT After moving into my initial apartment I found and reported mold, (I had specifically asked if there were any issues with mold, water damage or pests and I was assured there was not). The complex was slow to even come and investigate it. I developed fairly serious allergies and started staying with family instead after about a week or two. I gave staff a 1 because the receptionist Chelsea treats you like you don’t matter and overcharged is when we renewed. Her manager finally listened and corrected the problem. The staff doesn’t communicate With each other and never get the same answer twice. There hasn’t been a media room or available printers and using a small room as the gym while they work on “world renowned’ gym for 2 years. Let me start by saying that I created my Yelp account just to write a review on this poorly managed complex. Over my years at living at Monterey, I have seen bed bug infestation in other tenants, Monterey themselves down playing Mold in one of our rooms (which resulted in my roommate and his pregnant gf moving out). By the way, that same roommate is a project manager at a construction company, and knows to the tee health and regulation codes. They simply chipped it off and painted over.
