This emergency hospital is useless.
I am so tired of Montefiore. First, they charged me instead of the insurance company, now they charged my mother instead of billing Medicaid and I asked so many times if they take Medicaid and they said yes. They took a copy of the insurance card that day we were in the emergency room and on the bill they said they don't have any insurance information on file for her. Stop servicing people if you don't take Medicaid. If I could give 0 stars I would. I tried reaching the billing department and I get the run around. Horrible p... read more
Worst hospital ever, do not come here unless you want to be treated like an animal… been here with my husband for over 3 hours and no pain meds for an open wound, no proper dressing to cover a wound that could get infected. The staff here has no urgency, no empathy, its obvious these people are desensitized and do not give a damm.
