Authentic Italian Restaurant lead by Chef Ermes Paulin since 1989. Diablo Magazine Best of East Bay 2002, 2007, 2016 and 2017 for Best Italian Restaurant. 2016 Best Pasta of Walnut Creek (Walnut Creek Mag) for our seafood pasta Fettuccine alla Viareggina with large scallops and prawns and fresh pasta. Our Pollo Alla Piccata awarded Best Chicken Piccata 2016 as part of 100 Best Bites in SF Bay Area (Diablo Mag). Wine Spectator Magazine 2017 Award of Excellence for having one of the "Most Outstanding Wine List in the World".

Lasagna is the BEST – Here are my two favorite dishes: the Lasagna- make sure to order it when you walk in because they cook it by the order.. (30 minutes) and the seafood salad (Insalata di mare). The seafood is wonderful with a Pinot Grigio- such as the Santa Margherita. The restaurant is a little hokey... but I like the amature design. I go back often.
Not what I expected! – A friend gave me a positive review on this place, so I went with a group (4 couples). We had a reservation. Right from the get-go, the service was terrible and we waited over an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, it was mediocre. Every step of the experience was a let down, and all 8 people agreed it was not worth trying it again.
AWESOME – I have always loved this restaurant. I always suggest it to my friends and they alwaysd have a great time. To have this restaurant with a 7.1 is a SHAME t is a 10 in my book.
