Surprisingly kid friendly pool, THIN WALLS!! – Had my renewal of vows ceremony in one of their banquet rooms, which turned out really nice. Service was good, price was fair and the ambiance was intimate and lovely. Next day we used the pool. Fantastic and really kid friendly! The food at the buffet is xlnt and the service and atmosphere is nice. We had two adjoining rooms on the third floor, every time someone flushed, showered or farted, we heard it! Our room was next door to a service station and at 3:00am they started doi... read more

We paid $59.00 for a Sunday night – So what I expect and the average person that pays more may differ. The rooms were of nice size but the walls are thin hotel was clean, the Spa was FANTASTIC!!, the amenities are Gilchrist and Soames (top of the line) didn't see the pool we went on 3/7/05 for one night. Excellent location on the strip not far to walk for most of the hotels on the strip casino was clean not much activity (winning) on the slots, the cafe was okay service everywhere in the hotel was friendly a plus for them fo... read more

Thin walls – At times, the Monte Carlo is affordable, but usually, you pay for more than what you get. The big downfall is the quality of the rooms. The walls are SO thin, I could hear TV's in five different rooms! The place is very nice but for the $$ you can find a better room.

Impressive lobby, unimpressive rooms – This was not an enjoyable experience. The rooms had walls that were so paper thin I could not sleep the entire time I was there. I heard every toilet flush and shower turn on. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was very dark and drab. The hotel is also too far off to one end of the strip so it takes a while to go elsewhere. The diner is good & well priced. The servers are friendly. The casino is more smokey than most, and I found the dealers less friendly than the Venetian or Mand... read more

Die Hard New Yorker – My husband and I stayed here last July 2002 and we had a great time. We arrived early and had a room waiting for us with a king size bed which was nice. We asked for a refrigerator and got it almost immediately, same for our luggage. They helped us make plans for the Grand Canyon and were just nice. The pool area is great whether you are a kid or just a kid at heart. The first time we came to Las Vegas we stayed at Bellagio which is magnificent, but decided to try someplace different this time. We made ... read more

Loved it! – I was quite impressed. This was my first stay in the Monte Carlo. Virtually every room appears like it would have a great view of the strip, I know mine did. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Two thumbs up!

Had a great stay – Just got back from Thanksgiving weekend in Vegas, and have to say that I had a great stay at Monte Carlo. Went with three friends...two in suite, two in standard room. Both are nicely sized...not overly large, but both had plenty of room. Spa was great. Brew Pub was even better. Great location with many hotels, including NYNY and Bellagio within walking distance. Overall...when I go to Vegas I know I'm not going to spend a ton of time in the hotel that I'm staying in. Why spend a few hundred dollars more t... read more

Third Time Around – We just got back from our third stay at the Monte Carlo. Our first time was wonderful. Big Jacuzzi Spa Suite... everything was wonderful. The second time was on our honeymoon... same suite. Except the one they gave us when we first arrived was not unoccupied yet and when we finally did get one of our own we found that the surround sound in the room did not work. This last time we got just a Deluxe Room (224 a night!!). There was a cigarette hole burn in the curtain... what looked liked crayon or lipstick ... read more

Looks nice outside, but empty inside – Of course it can't be compared to Bellagio or Venetian, but not even comparable to Luxor. Outside looks beautiful, but inside, "what happened?". Service/staff was lousy/rude. Terrible food! I was at their buffet for something quick, found an ant in my food. I called the assistant manager (manager was out), she was making excuses like she has bad eyes so need to bring the plate back to the chef. It was so obvious it was an ant (I had others examine this) She came out and said "oh our che... read more
