Love this place – this is a fantastic hotel. not as austere as everywhere else, but it feels comfortable, kinda like home (if your home is a huge casino). staff is friendly, slots seem looser here than elsewhere on the strip.
Great place – For a break from the rest of the Strip casinos, try the Monte Carlo. It is a bit older, a bit less luxurious, but every bit as fun. The brewpub/bar in the back is a great place to have fun, the casino has lower limits, and overall, this is what you should get out of Vegas!
LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! – This is the PERFECT location to stay on the strip.....loved the location...didn't enjoy the watered down drinks you get served in the casino while gambling, but the rooms are nice and comfortable. Very quite hotel. Haven't tried any restaurants as of yet....not a very busy casino.
Beautiful hotel on the strip! – We stayed here for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are very comfortable and our view of the Strip was amazing. Great location and wonderful customer service.
Great value – The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is huge and luxurious. The location is ideal, being in the middle of the strip. But, it is still affordable.
Great For Families-Excellent Pool Area-Casino is not Gargantuan! – My family and I have been coming to the Monte Carlo for several years now. The hotel is well set up so that it doesn't take you 3 days to find the exit door in the casino from your room. It always smells so good when you walk in too. Great foodcourt right off the elevators, allows you to take back to your room if 'room service' is too costly for you. Nice place to stay, nothing spectacular, but a good clean, affordable room – The casino itself is "nice". Not amazing, not trashy, just nice. The rooms are clean, the overall hotel is clean and pleasant. You're not going to get the ritzy Vegas feeling here, but you also won't spend a bundle foryour room. budget trip – Stay here if you want to save money and you don't care about the hotel. The rooms are very simple and outdated. There is a foodcourt in the casino with mcdonald's...that's a clue. However, it is cheap, so if you want to spend very little, this could be the place for you.
Incredible poor treatment by management causes us to never return. – We were treated very rudely by staff and management at this hotel and our attempt to resolve the situation was completely ignored. After being called a liar in the Brew Pub by the manager we left rather than have the experience ruin our day. We stopped by the guest services area after leaving to provide them with our name and room number so that the bill would be paid even though we had not eaten anything at that point.
