Nice Hotel – On my first trip to Vegas, I had great conversation with the Reservation agent that checked us in. On the other hand, when I went to speak with someone at the counter, another rep was extremely rude. I was standing in line and when it was my turn, the rep said "next in line". When I went up, he said no, not you and pointed to another guy who was standing on the side. I said, " excuse me sir, I was here first, and the moron said, "he only needs a key", and I said so do I. Nonetheless, he still persued in assistin... read more
Affordable Elegance – Monte Carlo is my choice among mid-priced strip hotels. The guest rooms are nice although the bathrooms are a bit small. The restaurants include Andres, one of the best French restaurants in the city. The casino is easy to get aroud and never seems crowded, even when the hotel is full. The pool area incudes a wave pool and lazy river.Good value
Not as hyped as i thought it would be – I just came back from las vegas this valentine's weekend. I paid about 3-4 hundred on a hotel that was nice in the lobby but even the hallways to the regular deluxe rooms looked average i could have got another hotel for one hundred a night and it would have had CABLE which monte carlo didnt have, the sheets were not smelling fresh, and of course i notice everything about the rooms being neat and when we finally checked in (dont bother checking in early it didnt work for me) sheets wer... read more
Great location, good service and value – We had a great experience at the Monte Carolo recently. We arrived early in the day (around noon) and to our surpise our room was ready. Nice size bedroom and bath. The room was very clean. We had breakfast in their cafe each day. It was great - homemade cornbeef hash and eggs benedict. The hotel is in a great location right on the strip. We will stay there again on our next visit to Vegas.
Pepare to bitten at the bedbug hotel – My husband planned a weekend getaway to Vegas for my birthday. He chose the Monte Carlo because it was one of the better priced rooms and was located on the strip. We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by an hour long wait to check in. After finally checking in we opened the door to our room to find a smelly small room with paper thin walls. After unpacking we headed down to the casino, after losing tons of money and not getting any free cocktails we decided to go to Diablos to eat. It ... read more
Lance Burton is a joke! – Please do not waste your time and go see this clown...levitating scantily clad women and cheesy smoke machines is absolutely ridiculous .When a magician uses an 89 corvette is his show its a sign..do yourself a favor and go sit by the pool!!!
nice and friendly poker room – I did not stay at this hotel, I actually stayed next door at the New York New York. But I did play at the casino in Monte Carlo, more specifically the poker room. I found the environment of the poker room to be very friendly and not pretentious in the slightest, both the players and the casino staff. The poker room "host" (the guy running the room) was very nice in explaining the different games they had going on. They probably have other games, but I played in a $50 no limit texas holdem tourn... read more
Eh... – Desperately needing some updating. The service was not very good for the most part and there wasn't a great deal to do there. Everything closed surprisingly early. One bartender explained to me it was just too slow in the middle of the week. Wonder why...
A romantic European rendez-vous re-created right in the heart of Las Vegas. – In Short This property's design was inspired by antiquated elegance of the French Riviera with fountains, palm trees and statuary at its arched entryway. With faux turn-of-the-20th-century architecture, this attractive (and attractively priced) mega-resort features a 21,000-square-foot outdoor recreation area with swimming, children's, wave and river-drift pools. Spa Suites house separate wet saunas and full-size spa tubs. There's an arcade, golf c... read more
