Had lunch there while on a business trip and it was absolutely awesome.
Great food, great service! Unpretentious and relaxing restaurant with a well-stocked bar. Montague's has a hometown friendliness whilst providing that balance between lively bar and intimate/casual dining experience. It's so refreshing to have a locally owned and operated restaurant that has stood the test of time and continues to thrive in this competitive market so dominated by franchised mediocrity.
By far the best resturant in Greenwood SC. The worst meal I ever got there was fantastic. The waiters are second to none. Extremely friendly and professional. Anything less than outstanding does not describe Montagues Resturant.

Usually when I go to Montague's it's for Taco Tuesday or small plates and drinks(which are always wonderful). The wait staff and bartenders are great and I love them! Tonight I went for a proper dinner and was extremely happy! I ordered the sage pork stuffed with blueberry and cream cheese and it was DELICIOUS!!! Mad props to whomever put together this combination of flavors. Montague's continues to prove itself as an asset and gem to Greenwood and now specifically to Uptown.
