I purchased Monster's twin disk clutch for my C5 Corvette. The whole process of ordering and delivery went very smoothly and packaging was excellent. The clutch quality and attention to detail was also very good. Install went very smoothly and the clutch works flawlessly with very little pedal effort. Could not be happier!
Installed monster clutch and put almost a 1000 miles on it. Had a groaning noise show up after changing motor mounts in my c5. Reached out to customer support, they responded next day and after some back and forth communication they thought it was something in the TQ tube. Dropped rear cradle and TQ tube and found pilot bearing had come apart. Thanks for helping me narrow it down and find the problem!
Hi folks, I purchased the s-twin and the 20lb flywheel/OEM modified release bearing from Monster. I've had a few setups on this car and unfortunately I was never very satisfied. The important part is this: I've wasted 1000's and 1000's of dollars buying the wrong parts because a) I'm far from being mechanically savvy, and b) it's very hard to get quality information in my neck of the woods. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I provided them all the information on my car to have them build me a custom clutch for a SBC. They took my money for one of their top of the line clutch builds. Then started asking me for a bunch of measurements I couldn't provide immediately because the car was in pieces. Told them I would get them the information as soon as I could. They came through in a CLUTCH, 😉👍 After 3 failed attempts to purchase a remote bleeder for my 2001 Corvette, Monster Clutch came through for me. The bleeder was the same cost as the others. I did pay for rush shipment, because the mechanic had been so nice to have car on lift for 3 weeks as we waited for the other trash parts from E$$$ and A$$$$$.
