all the nurses and doctors are incredible! my nephew is a week old and had open heart surgery (HLHS) they love him at the picu and they take such good care of him! best hospital around!
Dr. Greg Plemmons and his team were amazing to my son and went out of their way to help our family. I was very pleased with the environment and how "kid" friendly and focused it truly is.

My daughter was there for 3 days this week and I couldn't of asked for a better hospital or staff. Some of the best nurses and doctors.
Vanderbilt saved my life as little girl, i had open heart surgery at 2 days old n also I was the youngest patient to receive a pacemaker at the time !! With out them I wld not be a mother of 3 !! Also 6 years ago they saves my sons life which had open heart surgery at 2 months old!! The staff there is very friendly and helpful they explained to me everything and helped us in our time of need :)
My niece was born here. She was born at 26 week's. I'm so blessed she was born here. I pretty much lived in Vanderbilt's children's hospital when I was a child. They truly saved my life many times. I was born with a rare deformity and I got sick easily with very high fevers. Me and my family lived in Michigan till I was 3. My mom told me while we lived up there, the hospitals there didn't know why I kept getting sick and so they would leave me in a room to die.
