Went to Monnik last night for the first time, and it won't be the last! Best local brews in Louisville, by far!! Hubby and I each had a 4 beer flight, all different, ALL good! Food was very good too (had curry fries, eggplant fondue, blue cheese burger, scallop). Our waitress was very nice, and showed us around the place. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic evening hosted by the awesome folks At Monnik Beer Co.. Good food, great company and awesome beer. Monnik is on a mission! A mission that is all about community, family and supporting local agriculture. I had the great fortune to get to talk to the owners about that mission last night. If you want to build community while supporting local agriculture, Places like Monnik Beer Co. are a great place to start. And! They made a shiitake beer! How cool is that!?!?
I haven’t recommended this officially yet? WTF?!?? Go here, great beer, amazing food, and fun staff. Great owners who really love their local community. Also, a growing and high end bourbon selection. A must for Louisville.
