Best Coffee I've had in a very long while. I could taste the vanilla in the foam of the vanilla latte. The staff has always been friendly. Having worked in the service industry for many MANY years, I would hope the few people who are NEVER going to return because of one bad experience pulls thier head out of their bums. Monks is a favorite place to hang, drink and socialize.
Great coffee!! Nice atmasphere.
I frequent Monks between 3-7 times a week (mostly mornings). Unfortunately today, their afternoon staff was very rude and unhelpful, I left empty handed after a long wait. I probably won't return, as I can get sub par service elsewhere for less.
Been here just twice. Place reminds me of Austin, tx. Very eclectic and a variety of seating options. Place is older so that my come off as negative to some but for the price and the atmosphere I loved it. Studying is made easy (esp. For a nursing student) and I always had friendly staff. The coffee bar is kept clean the only downside is I wish the bathroom accessibility was better. That might need some updating but it's not unbearable by any means.
