Just got done having lunch with my wife. The food was great but our server (Ashley) was awful. Apparently she doesn’t know there is a huge difference between Cherry Coke and Coke with crap fountain flavoring. That is understandable. But whenever we needed something she was either gabbing with coworkers or nowhere to be found. My wife flagged her down once, she acknowledged her and then just disappeared for 10 minutes. Food was okay. Service wasn’t great. If I’m correct I think our waitress name was Kayla (she didn’t introduce herself but over heard when she greeted another table) she wasn’t very personable, didn’t smile and just didn’t seem to enjoy her job. Because of the service we most likely won’t be back.
Went today to Monks in Middleton with the family shortly after 11 AM. We were seated and waited for 15 minutes to be waited on, and nobody came. We were one of only two tables seated in the dining room, yet none of the three college-age employees yacking at the front desk didn't seem to want to be bothered by actually doing their jobs and serving customers. I'll never set foot in a Monks again.
Monster meal..Brisket-Burger with great Bacon. Service was super, location a bit out of the way.
Awesome burger definitely stopping back if I'm in the area again.
Went to lunch with my family-we had a perfect time. Atmosphere was great, server was excellent and food was FANTASTIC! Asked for my burger medium well and was thr best burger I have had in a very long time! We will be coming back soon!!
Had a couple beers and the jalapeno burger. Food was good and the tap beer choices were also a pleasant surprise. Courteous bar server as well. I will be back.
Had the BEST time at Monk's Bar & Grill for Badger game. With each touchdown, we are service a red jello shot! The staff was awesome, agreeing to take pics, videos, and treat us the royalty all Badger fans should be given. Highly recommend Monk's Bar & Grill for the next Badger game!!
