I went to Preston for chest pains. The ER staff pumped me full of pain meds, before even figuring out what the problem was. They admitted me to be monitored overnight. The next day the doctor ( who was supposedly monitoring my case from home) came in and was surprised that it hurt when I took a breath in (my whole reason for being there). He stood there are stared at me, asking what medications I wanted. WHAT MEDICATIONS I WANTED!!! I'm not a doctor! He had no diagnosis and we told them I wanted to be released. I went in for being dehydrated while pregnant. My ob in morgantown told me to go to the closest hospital for fluids. I was poked 5 times by two different nurses who blew my veins each time trying to put fluids in me. I kept saying it hurt and they didn't listen. Then the doctor tried to tell me I was dehydrated I could leave. If I was not dehydrated why were you giving me fluids in the first place? So there's your first lie to get me to shut up. The eye rolling and whispering from the triage nurses wasn't very professional to say the least.

Didn't like the doctor on duty so no doctor came in even though there was 2 on duty ... I will probably start driving her to Motown!!!!!! Unless it's a simple cold!!!!!!!!

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to compliment the wonderful staff at Preston Memorial. I recently had surgery here, and the care I received was outstanding! The nurses and staff went above and beyond to care for me and made sure my stay was as comfortable as it could be. Everything was neat, clean and organized as well. Thank you for making a stressful time so much easier!
