RecommendedWe had an excellent experience at Mon Ami! Food was wonderful and service was great! First time we have been back in about five years! Give the new owners a chance to make all what was wrong right. They will get it done! After dinner we went to Twin Oast (their other establishment) and it was an hour wait for food and a long line for beer. Everyone was happy and willing to wait for the delicious food and beer.
Me and my family love Mon Ami. We actually live right next door! LOL We have been coming here for years! I really appreciate a place that supports live music. You should check out Master T.C. and The Visitors. They rocked BIKE WEEK and BURNING SNOWMAN and have a nice classy following. They would fit perfect with the posh atmosphere of Mon Ami. Used to be amazing. 2 weeks after it was sold; worst service I ever had. Order food and waited over 90 minutes. Had to go to the bar to get my own drink and teach the bartender how to make a Manhattan. When I received my food, it was cold. I used to drive 2 hours one way several times summer to go there. So disappointed.
We drove all the way from Columbus, OH and made a reservation. We arrived 20 mins before our reservation and then were told we would have a 45min wait. Very disappointing. We have a house in Port Clinton and are very disappointed that they can not manage there reservations correctly. Unfortunately we will probably never be back.
Excellent experience at dinner tonight. Food was very good and the service was outstanding. Kudos to the new owners and management.

I called yesterday, July 9th for reservations for 7 at 6 pm. I was told that reservations are not taken during the week, but, should not have a problem being seated. We are local people,and were excited about celebrating a birthday, and, also trying Mon Ami out, under new ownership. We arrived at 6 pm, only to be told it was a 30 minute wait.
