I would only trust one company - Mohr Restorations - with my 1970 Olds 442. Ron Mohr and I undertook a seven month full restoration for my 442 which included an entirely new drivetrain powered by a Joe Mondello Racing Engines Olds 461 big block engine: TCI Racing 700R4 transmission, new GM 12-bolt posi rear end with Wilwood disk brakes, all new suspension and an AGR steering box to go with the Jones Racing power steering pump. Other new installations: New gas tank, wheels/tires, wiring, plumbing, interior, dash electronics (... read more

I took a stripped 66 Mustang to them, only had suspension, wiring, and side scoops and ducts. They threw wiring in garbage, even though marked save. Original pitman arm and idle arm (rare to car) disappeared, he replaced with repro. Rear end tag disappeared. Original traction bars to the car also disappeared. The original side scoop ducts were not pla... read more

Mohr Restorations is an alright company.. I guess the only thing that drove me away from them was that I had discovered that The owner to save money likes to take Shortcuts on everything. Your paying alot of money and not getting your worth out of it. The overall look of the cars are great. but there strength and durability is weak.. You can have an excellent paint job. but the quality of the welds and money put into it is extremely weak.
