It’s been a couple years. I didn’t want trash a local company…but the irritation has been living rent free in my head for this long… We had a leak in a 3” copper drain. This was in our unfinished basement, well lit, easy access. I called several people inquiring about repairing it with copper line… Modleys said they could. Two guys came out looked it over, ran to get supplies… they get back 2 hours later, slapped a piece of pvc in there with a rubber boot and charged me $450. Since then, I gave up on copper and have redone m... read more

Horrible experience — read Yelp reviews and beware of padded hours and unrealistic billing that they refuse to explain. I asked several times how many hours had accrued during the first visit and the tech ignored the question, saying “it wasn’t much” and “it won’t take much longer to fix, it’ll be quick and easy,” only to later receive a bill for 2–3× more hours than the verified time spent on site, including drive time of maybe 5–7 minutes to the unit. I’ve used for many jobs on a few homes over last couple years. They always have to come twice and they are pretty expensive. This last time they called me for a job at 8:30 and asked if they could come I said yeah and they arrived at 8:45 and at 9:15 they said they were done. I was billed 1.5 hrs for a local job that they literally were working at for 30 min. Seems to be common theme but what they do is in high demand I just wanted people to be prepared for the expense.

We were in desperate need when our sewer line backed up. Other places weren't going to be able to get to us until next week. Troy and Keith were on site within an hour of our call. They worked to get us unclogged and cleaned up quickly and courteously. We may have had to close our youth camp early if not for them. I cannot recommend them more. Hopefully we don't have plumbing needs in our near future, but if we do we will definitely be using Modley's again.
