AVEDA uh oh!! – I have religiously frequented AVEDA salons in four different large markets over the past ten years and have always been satisfied. MODERN is new, so the atmosphere is well appointed and the staff is very courteous, and the quality was equal to past AVEDA salon experiences, with one exception. I had a simple layering cut and a low/highlight done and the cost was over $300..........OUCH!!! Why so high, I don't know. That is 3X higher than other AVEDA salons in comparable markets. AWESOME! – My haircut with Betty is quite possibly the best cut I have ever received in my entire life! I just moved to NC and Saturday was my first time in Modern Salon. I won't be going anywhere else to get my hair done. I am going to make an appt. today to get highlights and I can't wait to try out the rest of the salon and spa. This was a great experience and I highly recommend this Aveda salon.

If I could only go daily – THe experience that I had last week at the Birkdale Modern location is really hard to describe. From the moment I walked through the door I was pampered and truly made to feel like I was the only client they had the only day...don't think this for a second though, this salon is the premiere salon and spa in the southeast, plus they are Aveda concept...which is an added incentive in itself.
