Wonderful Experience My experience with Modern Nissan of Concord was wonderful. The salesperson was very helpful, and never rushed me or pressured me. Gary Frazier was very nice, and was able to find me the Murano that I wanted. It has over 130,000 miles on it now, and is running great. I will definitely buy my next vehicle from them as well.
"TRICKERY"??? As someone who can quote the owner/general manager to "leave the trickery up to us",watch out for this bunch of tricksters.
Rude and Unprofessional Management My family and I went to Modern to look at a Nissan Cube that they had on their website. With gas prices sky-rocketing, we thought we would be proactive and purchase a vehicle with good gas mileage to replace my gas drinking SUV to tote the kids to school in. My husband talked to a sales person on the phone and informed her upon our approval of the car we would take the car home that day and would be paying cash, but that he would not pay sticker price. Excellent! My wife and I purchased a Murano from Modern Nissan of Concord ,and we had an excellent experience. The salesman was very helpful, and the manager, Gary Frazier took time to make sure we were finding the perfect vehicle for our family. The service department was also very courteous. We will definitely shop at Modern in the future.
Beware of this company Beware of this company. I had an offer, acceptance, and consideration with this company. They decided to back out of the deal. Don't waste your time with these guys.
Don't listen to the salesmen We just bought an Altima last weekend. There were problems from the beginning as the car had 2,700 miles on it. We were able to come to terms that were agreeable. However, during our initial testdrive, we asked the salesman, Travis, about a CD changer. He said we wouldn't need one, since the car has a 2 GB hard-drive. That was fine with us. Bring your wallet - All they want is a BIG profit. We did our research, we visited other dealerships and it was clear, Modern does not want you doing this. They want you to believe whatever they tell you and if you do your research, you will find they want a $5000 profit...minimum. Avoid them, they are the American Greed Machine.
Manger got snippy... My husband and I couldn't decide if we wanted a minivan or SUV. We sought out Modern Nissan to get the answer. While the salesperson was very nice and helpful, the manager was not. My husband went into the building with the salesman to talk to the manager about options and the manager got snippy and told my husband he needed to 'decide what he was going to do and then get back to us.' We left and did not purchase there for that very reason.
Modern Hyundai has the Rudest Greediest salesmen, the "classic" kind Here's a copy of the BBB complaint against these "people": The manager threatened to charge me with fraud and they cashed my deposit before we agreed it to be cashed. During the financial negotiations between myself, my fiance, and the Hyundai employee, Tony, on 8-8-09, I had agreed to make a $500.00 deposit via checking account check.
