Best Eye Doctor & Store! – Modern Eye has a phenomenal staff that completely understands their products and what will work on a customers face. The selection of glasses is the best I have EVER seen! They have amazing brands and styles. The doctors are also wonderful. This is the BEST place for eye care needs!!
The best optical shop. period. – I am amazed that this place doesn't make the "best of philly" every year. Someone's asleep at the wheel. I've tried most of the nicer optical shops in Philly as well as New York and Boston and I gotta tell ya they don't hold a candle to this place. I know New Yorkers in fact who come to Philly to go to Modern Eye because of the selection of hip stuff and the customer service. Bets eyeglasses anywhere – I've also done business with their center city location and reviewed it. Took a friend to the University City branch. Amazing consistency with both stores. These people know what their doing and how to do it.

*Fabulous* – Always a great experience @ Modern Eye. The styles range from conservative to bold colors and shapes. The prices are pretty reasonable compared to other eye wear shops in town. The service was excellent! Take a visit and believe me.... you will be sucked in. Enjoy~
Fantastic! – Absolutely flawless experience! I have been to some pretty crummy optical goods merchants, and I didn't really have any high expectations, but Modern Eye really surprised me! As others have mentioned, the store is beautifully decorated, and the staff very helpful and professional. The doctor was very friendly, thorough and meticulous. I couldn't have asked for more.
