Moda Hair Salon is great if Sally still works there.. When I lived in NB, Moda was the place I went to for color and cut as a student it was expensive but at the time I thought worth it. I first was with Allison (I think?) she was ok not so great.. But then I moved onto Sally and by far this women was the BEST stylist that has ever cut my hair!!! Moda Hair Salon Henry's cuts are amazing. I have been to him several times and have never been dissatisfied. He really takes into account what you say, specifically if you want layers. I went to Tanya once for a full head of color and full highlights. She was ok but I definitely could have paid less somewhere else for the same effect. Also, she isn't a very pleasant person.
Worth every penny! They have quite an eye for what will work and ask all the right questions about what you want from your look. Josh did an incredible job on my hair, and gave me some great styling tips to boot. The hair cuts are not dirt cheap, but very reasonable, and the results are worth twice the cost. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area.
Racist Jerks So I am not American...so my hair should be treated like garbage...after all in my country, thats how we treat hair... So if anyone feels this way about their own hair, please go to Moda and ask for Tony....He will pull every hair out of your scalp and give you the shock treatment that you so love. (Who is, ironically not American himself!)
Distracted stylist...MISTAKE My first experience was good for the most part...besides the fact that my stylist (Josh) was very rough on my hair/head. I liked the results though, after adjusting to the new look. I went back just recently...and my experience not quite as good. college student My friend told me about Moda Hair Salon. I have been very loyal to my hairdresser but I loved my friends cut and decided to give it a try. Josh did a great job!!! If your looking for a trendy new look he is your man. I love love love my new cut and style. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and they play the best music. Great experience!!!
Great Haircuts Josh did a great job cutting my hair! He sat with me while I described what I wanted him to do to my hair and for the first time ever it turned out exactly how I wanted. He took his time with cutting and styling my hair and the results showed. I would highly recommend MODA to anyone, male or female. The haircuts are definately worth the price.
OUCH! OK, so I have just returned from a haircut at Moda. Have you seen the All-State ad on TV? I was actually made to hold sections of my hair! No clips, no fasteners! And Tony, treated my hair like he was washing a thick rug. Pulled and tugged and chopped it off like my hair was actually fighting back! Then came the drying and "Styling"...OUCH...again, I was holding my hair while he dried my hair. The boar bristle brush nicked my ears! Moda Hair Salon is Snobbish and pretentious Please do remember that if you turn up late to Moda, Josh gets bugged and screws up your hair. i went half an hour late and as he was doing someone else's hair, i asked nicely how long, so i could leave and return later if he wsan't free. i was told a few minutes and made to wait for half an hour.
