I would not recommend taking anything to Moda Alterations and Embroidery. They told me two of my dresses were finished, so I picked them up last week. I got them home and the button holes weren't finished and they didn't add half of the buttons. I brought them back and left them again, without any sort of apology from the owner. Then I picked them up today, and the spacing of the buttons are not equal at all on one of the dresses. I brought this up to the owner and she just said "sorry, my husband did it." I cannot recommend Moda more highly!! My wedding was 7 weeks away and I needed alterations for my bridal gown. The (nationally known) bridal store that I bought the dress from told me that my simple addition would take 6 weeks. I obviously didn't have that kind of time, so a friend of a friend told me about Moda. The best service I have ever received. Quality work. I take all of my suits there to be tailored and trimmed. If you want to look fresh, this is the place to go.
I came in late afternoon yesterday and needed last minute things embroidered. They had them ready the next morning. My items look wonderful and the prices are affordable!
