I have lived at the same residence for over 10 years now. Everything was fine until this company came in about a year ago. There is no management on site, and if they are ever here, they hide in vacant apartments and do not notify tenants where or how to locate them. They NEVER respond to any emails or phone calls. Great Company, Friendly Staff. Everyone is kind, professional, and helpful.
I would strongly recommend being cautious before renting from this company, particularly at 450 Lafayette. My overall experience here has been very disappointing. The management team is difficult to reach, and there is often no response from the office. The common areas, including the parking lot, elevators, and lobby, are poorly maintained, with trash frequently left around. I do not recommend renting from MJW Investments. Their apartment management is extremely poor, especially when it comes to maintenance. Getting even basic repairs done takes forever, and they rarely follow up or communicate. Tenants are left dealing with broken appliances, leaks, and other issues that never seem to get fixed. This investment company took over the complex that i live in for several years. They took ownership in January ‘25. It’s gone down hill ever since. Manages is not available, gardeners are destroying the grounds with the big mowers that ride on, uneven cuts. These people are only interested in money, and nothing else. Every owner before these people were great.
