I visited mixon's fruit farm 1/03/2019 0n a thursday.I booked 2 tickets for the Tram ride.Come to find out they booked a birthday party with the tram ride.My tour was ruined.Over booked and a rushed tour.I was contacted with a free ice cream and tram ride if theirs spots left on tram.This made me more made.Mixon's fruit farm is all about big profit and little customer service.They just lost a long time customer,Ive been coming since i was one or two years old very sad indeed.
RecommendedWe stop at Mixon's every time we are in Longboat Key. It is our daughter's favorite place. Of course the tram ride is a must and after we have to have the orange ice cream!
Very cool! Free oj, orange ice cream swirls, cool tram rides, hold alligators, touch snakes and tortoises, shop for goodies! A must see! They just need the freshest non pasteurized oj! That’s my only suggestion. Thanks!

I have to say this venue was one of the best for children’s bday party!! 5 stars!!!
We stopped by Mixon Farms today and had a wonderful time! The tour of the farm and wild life refuge were great. Then we went into the shop and were so blown away by all the great items in there. The wine selection was really fun and delicious! We have recommended stopping by to our family and friends. We ourselves will be back too.
My family and I needed a cool spot to visit before school started and we ended up in Bradenton Florida!! We love the staff, scenary and most of all the nature! Mixon is a must see (FOR YOURSELF) that is!!!
I stumbled upon Mixon almost by accident while looking through tourism pamphlets. My daughter is 1 and a half and I'm in my third trimester with my second. I needed an activity that she would enjoy and I wouldn't have to be on my feet all day. Mixon was PERFECT. The tour was the perfect length and my daughter really enjoyed seeing the animals so close-up. We had a wonderful time visiting, shopping and touring Mixon Farms. The employees are wonderful! We ate in the restaurant and the food was great. The tour was fun and seeing all the animals was a great way to top off our visit. Oh and there is wine tasting!
