RecommendedI have ordered from Mixson’s for years for my four adult children who are spread all over the country. But they were all raised in Florida and they KNOW good citrus. This year especially they all called to tell me that this was the best Florida Orange (Blue Bells) they have ever eaten. And now we pass all this Mixson goodness down to 8 grandchildren. Mixon's is a nice spot to take visitors, the store with crafts, trinkets, collectibles and fresh fruit, plus loads of free samples, then the grove tour with a stop at the wildlife center. The center has few gators, crocs,,huge snakes, owls, turtles and other wild life, some you can hold and pet, the "ranger" is both informative and funny, such a nice and dedicated man. Wholesome family fun & shopping!
I attended a beautiful wedding here on Saturday. What a hidden little gem in the back of Mixon's. The location was beautiful and very convenient for the event. The help staff was friendly and handled the event with ease. They truly are professional in the area of event coordination. Everything was well laid out and the reception was flawless.
My husband and I highly recommend Mixon Farms. They have an amazing event planning department in house to help you with special occasions. I worked closely with Brandy and our event came off without a hitch. This family-owned business puts a lot of heart and soul into everything they do. We are so impressed with this organization and will recommend them over and over again.
