RecommendedI work in New Hudson. And Mittens has a very good reputation among its locals. So I wasn't surprised to find a clean caring place. The team was very nice & caring and explained everything they were doing they practiced mask wearing as well as social distancing. They also only let in one patient with their Human in at a time. Dr. Coleman met my dog, Higgins, just this past Monday. My previous vet always muzzled my dog which always made him more anxious. I was relieved when Dr. Coleman and his staff took it all in stride when Higgins got stressed. I greatly appreciate the compassionate and understanding care. We are glad to have a new vet that will put our dog's needs first.

Dr. Coleman & all his staff care for your pet/s as if they were their own. Kind, compassionate & won’t try to “up sell” you on treatments as so many other vets do. He treats his clients with respect & will take the time to answer all your questions. All my furbabies have been & still are taken care of by Dr. Coleman & I feel that we are so blessed & fortunate to have found him. I have been taking my Pups to see Dr. Coleman about every six weeks for 2 years. Dr. Coleman and the staff are always more than understanding with him, he was a rescue and has behavior problems. I couldn't recommend Mitten more highly, you can tell that each and everyone of the staff truly love animals.
