RecommendedMy dog Frankie and I are new to Mitten Animal Hospital and I don't think we could have made a better decision. They took really good care of Frankie and answered all the questions I had. I cannot recommend them more.
They go above and beyond, I get phone call reminders for my pets heartworm and flea meds when I run out, I can order online, always can get an emergency appointment, staff is so sweet and quick service. I moved and still drive an hour to take my dogs here!
What a great place! When moving to South Lyon we wanted a place that's close to home to take our fosters. Mitten Animal Hospital is so great, they not only see my fosters but also my personal kitty who is a Highland Lynx. Everyone is always so nice and they dont try to push extras on you to make a buck. I would recommend them!
I’ve had a great experience with them so far. I will gladly travel from Fenton to see them, it’s well worth it. My puppy has received all his care from 8 weeks from Dr. Coleman and I trust them all with my baby. They even sent me a photo of my dog the minute he woke up from his surgery. Also, their costs are extremely reasonable. I’ve had family pay 100+$ more for the same services.

They took such good care of our dog Jenny. Even though she is not the best doggie at the vet (very good elsewhere:)) the doctor and his staff were very patient with her and made her feel comfortable when she was scared. Thank you again! The McCartys & Jenny
Last winter, my 10 year old puppy had a serious neck injury, developed diabetes and became blind within 2 1/2 mos. I was devastated, sure that I was losing our energetic and happy fur-ball. Dr. Coleman, Sharon and the rest of the staff encouraged us, educated us and continuously follow up to make sure that Skippy is getting the best of care. Every morning when I'm greeted with my tail wagging, healthy best friend, I thank God for Dr. Coleman and his staff.
We recently switched to Mitten and are so thankful that we did! Dr. Coleman and his staff are amazing!
It is awesome! Dr Coleman is a very caring vet. He is very patient in explaining test results and exams. He does not recommend unnecessary tests as I have experienced at other veterinary hospitals. His approach to examining a pet is thorough but gentle. Office staff is also very friendly and helpful.
