Mitchell's is consistent with it's good food. Desserts are great there. Good Wine list. True that the rest rooms are not well kept, and they are often so overrun with business, you can get a less desirable seat, but does not take away from the friendly and knowledgeable service. This is a good operation for Landry's overall, but better quality levels at Mortons or McCormick and Schmicks, though a pain to have to downtown for those.
Menu not overly exotic. Pretty classic stuff. If you want simple fresh seafood it’s great but don’t expect anything exotic
Their lobster bisque is very good . I ordered grilled mani mahi , I've never had it before , I was so glad si tried , it was excellent. Service was good . We always like our food everytime we go there. I highly recommend this place for seafood . We lived in this area so its convenient for us .
My husbands filet was cold, the waiter said he would bring him another, then he came back took his plate, returned it a few minutes later with the same cold filet?! My shrimp was cold and the potatoes were wrong and they did nothing. I don't think I'll be returning.
It just wasn't a 5. I expected more variety on menu. The happy hour drinks and appetizers were $5 and since I was celebrating my birthday, they comped the dessert.
Food was excellent, service was excellent, value was average. I will go back again.
