Mitchell EMC has always been a total let down in my area. This makes Day 9 w/o power and however the bill is still rolling. Haven't seen not 1 MEMC truck in my area since the hurricane. However, disaster's like this really has assured me I'm in the wrong area. Big ups to the City of Albany however. After this, I will most definitely be looking into changing companies because MEMC gone show us THEY will come when THEY feel like it.
After finding out that the town's on both sides of us have power and the reason we don't have power is because Mitchell EMC will sign a contract for outside contractors to help put Lines up so we can have power. So while everyone else has power, we're left in the dark. We have an elderly couple living next door and one of them needs a breathing machine. guess what no power, only a 1000 watt generator. RecommendedAnd just like that, I’m bleaching toilets, sweeping floors, washing clothes, washing dishes, going to be vacuuming any minute. Got that air way down low. Music, that darn dripping sink in my bathroom sounds good. Lord it’s the small things. I just hugged and hugged my lineman from Rome, Georgia. If my tub was big enough and I was smaller I would swim in it. 😂
