RecommendedI love Mitchell but they have a power outage nearly every month. It takes a while for them to turn your lights back on. what's with all the outages. They come at the most inconvenient times.
It’s tough living in a rural area. Trees are always falling on the line. Especially since Hurricane Michael. But they always get the lights back on.
I'm not sure about the staff in the other locations... but the branch in Albany GA are not very helpful... they talk down to you and if their business covers your area... they have a "take our attitude and like it" mentality. If ANY other power company services your area... hire the other company.
When we signed up for services we notified the staff that we had a special needs daughter that requires electricity to survive... whenever we run into a tight spot, they are not forth coming to help out... they charged us several times for a reconnect fee and an additional 30 bucks... mind you we are on pay per day so the amount we are in the negative is a quarter of what the fees are... the hospital we were discharged from gave us the necessary paperwork to take to the utilities company and they have been no help... the people they are very friendly in the service is usually very excellent! unlock the city of Albany utilities which suck!
MEMC employees work hours when others are home with their families. No matter the situation they are always prepared to take care of their people. Not sure where we would all be without them in times of hurricanes, tornadoes, any time there’s a problem~ MEMC is only a phone call away. I say Thank You for your long hours, dedication, and timely manner in responding to problems. God Bless you all and my prayers are with each of you. 🙏🏼
