This so called doctor should not be practicing medicine. He ignored every obvious symptom of complications post surgery and I nearly died of sepsis. I ended up with an ileostomy and two more surgeries due to his neglect post surgery. He does not provide quality patient care and does not listen to his patients. My life is forever changed on a daily basis due to his neglect and my life expectancy is now shortened. If you have a choice in surgeons do not go to Dr. Bax. Do not trust your life in his hands.
Saw Dr. Pokorny for years with my son. He always provided us with all of the information, helped us understand it and didn't abandon us to make significant medical decisions on our own, because we were often faced with unknowns. He also cared enough about us to help us find research hospitals that might be able to shed more light on our unique situation.
About 2 years ago Dr. Pokorny did Deviated Septum and turbinate surgery on my nose. It has been a nightmare since. I have a harder time breathing out of my nose now than I ever had. My mucus/phlegm that I use to blow out of my nose stays in the back and I have to hack and cough it out. My nose is constantly dry or plugged up. Dr. Mitchell is one of the best ENT doctors in Spokane. I was diagnosed with tonsil cancer this past April. He explained everything and what kind of treatment would be the best for my stage 1 cancer. He is a very compassionate person and answered any questions my wife and I had. We both liked his approach to making this the best possible situation for what I was facing. Dr. Mitchell is the most caring Physician that I have had to see because of a serious health condition. He is an excellent surgeon and he advises you in a direct and compassionate manner. He will ask about other aspects of your life and offer help when needed. He really cares deeply about everyone of his patients. He saved my life.
What can you say about a man who saves your life, compassionately tells you the truth and makes every resource available to you? Dr. Mitchell is a hero in my book--integrity and professionalism.
Terrible! Did I see another doctor because he is highly rated? He was so rude to me at the hospital! He barely said one word to me prior to my procedure. He tossed the consent form at me and said to sign it. I was so shocked that I just signed it. My husband was in the same state!
I've been seeing Dr. Pokorny since 2013. My second sinus surgery was performed by Dr. Pokorny. The surgery went well and recovery was good. I was very pleased with the results. I continue to see Dr. Pokorny regularly. He has provided me with excellent service and most of the time I am symptom free. Dr. Pokorny and his staff are very professional and personal. I would recommend Dr. Pokorny to any of my family or friends.
